Good morning to all my lovely blog friends out there, I hope all is well in your corner of the world. Can you believe it's the last day of January already?! Oh my I hope the rest of the year slows down a bit!!
It's not just any Tuesday today it's Totally Ladybug Tuesday and that means time for a new challenge at
and I have some news to share with you all too! Exciting things are going on (trust me there's never a dull moment on that DT!) and next challenge we have a NEW RELEASE and a BLOG HOP to celebrate! More on that later first lets get on to this weeks challenge and the very sweet and lovely Julie has chosen
HE LOVES ME - HE LOVES ME NOT
so Love and Valentine inspired makes please
This is Guilty Jack available HERE and he is my favourite LCI character (along with Magnum and Nikki of course!) Today is your last chance to buy LCI stamps at half price so make sure you get your orders in before midnight tonight.
The papers I've used are MME and I've kept my embellies to a minimum with some rolled roses, tiny tag and a die cut swirl. Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of this challenge and some GORGEOUS inspiration from the Ladybugs!
Now for all the latest news!
Well to start with our 3 gorgeous GDT, Diane, Sally and Catherine are all staying FOREVER! Kerry took away their L plates and gave them their own set of wings, it's great to have them officially on board.
Kerry has been super busy (her little ladybug wings are all worn out) and next challenge we have a super new release and that means a fantastic blog hop with cracking prizes!
So keep yourself tuned into LCI over the next coupe of weeks for sneak peeks!
That's all from me today, thank you for visiting, I'll be back tomorrow with my first DT card for the Diva's and the results of my Candies
Happy Sunday everyone, the sun is shining but the sky is grey here if that makes sense! Thought I'd sneak a little card in that has been coloured up for a while and last night I gave up on 2 DT cards I've been struggling with and made this instead!
and this week my bestest blogging buddy Lisa is the hostess with the mostest and she has given us a fabulous theme
I saw this design in a magazine (I'm sorry I don't know which one because I ripped the page out to keep) and I had to have a go myself. The image is a fabulicious Stampin' Bella I think this one is called Babycarriageabella. The shapes were all cut with nesties (some of them grand) the flowers are a mix of Prima and punched, lots of brads and ribbon from my stash and little alphabet stickers.
I'm quite happy with this - blooming in every sense with that image!
We have yet another fabulous new sponsor this year and for this challenge we welcome - the fantastic
Bunny Zoe's who are offering this prize to the winner
Nikki has some fantastic new stock just arrived in store, follow this link
Make sure you check out the main challenge blog for all the details of this challenge, the amazing inspiration from the DT and to see if you were amongst the lucky winners last week. And this week our DT has the 3 winners of the GD spots joining us, I hope you can find time to visit them to show them some MAWTT love!
Thank you all for your visits and comments
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Well it's not such a good morning in my part of the world today folks! It's really grey and miserable but I suppose we have more to be grateful for than a lot!
I'm here to sneak in a quick card between DT's. Since I've had this flu thingy my mojo has gone missing and try as I might I just can't make a DT card! So I thought I'd try something different and I've had little Lewis all stamped out waiting to be coloured.
I love Prairie Fairy images and Gillian made an appearance here a week or so ago, this is 'Lewis At The Beach' how cute is that little face? and I hate 'crocs' with a vengeance but his are just adorable! The papers I've had forever! Brown chipboard letters for 'Dude' and a die cut wave is about it on this one.
I can share some news today as it's finally been announced on the blog, I've been bursting to tell - I have been chosen to join the fabulous
They are going weekly and the fantabulous Rebekah was looking to expand their DT, my official start date is Feb 8th but I couldn't wait that long and will I will be joining in from next week. At last I will be a real Diva! my family have been telling me that for years!
Thank you to everyone who drops by and reads my drivel and to everyone who leaves a comment - it never ceases to amaze me how excited you can get by that! Hello to all my followers, old and new.
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
I hope today finds everyone happy and well?
I've now moved into the second week of my flu bug thingy and I'm so fed up with it, I was way ahead in my card making and now that's all been wiped out and I'm just keeping up again!
My very lovely teammie Debs has chosen the theme this week and she wants us all to
HAVE A HEART
This is a card I made for my best blogging buddy on her recent engagement. The stamp is actually donkey's years old but I still love it! It's from Bang On The Door and it always makes me smile. Check out the size of Lisa's rock!!
You can find all the details of this weeks challenge over on the main challenge blog along with details of this weeks prize. We are sponsored by
This is the 2nd time I have used this stamp - see I knew it was imperative I had it! I would like to use it more, but twice is really a lot for me when you see how many I have never used! The gorgeous gorgeous papers are from Maja Designs, I was first introduced to these by the lovely Jill, thank you Hunny they are DEVINE! I decided to go all monochromatic in my fave dusty pink as I had the exact right colour flowers from WOC and I coloured my flat back pearls in with Copics to match (you have to let them dry). I've sparkled her wings with glamour dust too.
I never get around to showing you the inside of my cards so for a change here's a little peek
The sentiment is from LCI and I promise it shows up more in real life!
and this week my lovely teamie Sue is hosting and she would like to see some
on your cards - We all love a bow don't we?
I rarely make a card that doesn't have ribbon on! Not intentionally, I just like to finish it off with a nice bow!
I've used an old sketch for some inspiration, I'm sorry but I don't know where its from but I think its one of Bev Rochesters. The fabulicious image is Bathtub Nikki available HERE at half price through January! I've been stocking up while this amazing offer is on all cling stamps at the LCI store!
Papers are MME Meadowlark. My sentiment is a Melissa Francis rub on and you can't see it on this picture but I've put glossy accents on the bath tub to make it look porcelain!
I hope you will all get time to play along with this challenge, remember the Ladybugs have gone fortnightly for now so you have 2 weeks to get your bows tied! You don't have to use an LCI image to join in but we love it when you do!
Head over to the main challenge blog page for all the details of this challenge, last weeks winners and some fabulous inspiration from my lovely team mates.
It's been quite difficult leaving comments on some blogs this last week, I've just changed my comment box to a pop up as many people think this will cure at least one problem! If I didn't get around to commenting on your blog it wasn't because I didn't try!
Thanks to everyone for visiting
don't forget to enter my followers candies
I have a lot to thank you guys for!
Well I may be a little late but I am here with my candy post at last! I'm back from my Nephews wedding and it was fabulous - 2 days of non stop partying, I now need a couple of weeks off to recover!
While I was away it was my 1st blogaversay, the year has gone so quickly and been so much fun, I've made some friends for life and learnt so much from my fellow crafters I want to offer a little blog candy to my followers as a thank you. Rather than one big candy I've decided to split it up into small chunks! I was doing 6 but ran out of time putting them together so here are 4! I just may get around to putting the other 2 together before I pick the winners, but if I didn't hurry up and get this posted it would be closer to my 2nd blogaversary!
There is a 'Favourite Paper' Candy with a My Minds Eye and a Bo Bunny 6x6 pad and some organza ribbons.
A "Pink & Girly' Candy with lots of different Wild Orchid Craft flowers, a Distress Ink Pad in Spun Sugar, A Pink Copic, several lengths of ribbon and a sheet of Flat Back Pearls.
An 'Alphabet' Candy with 8 different alphabets, 3 Rub On from Doodlebug in different sizes, 4 sticker sheets, 3 from Doodlebug and 1 from Papermania and a Chip Chatter chipboard set. Each one is a different colour.
And last but not least a 'Valentine' Candy made up from red roses in several different sizes again from WOC, 2 lengths of red ribbon, a pack of heart doilies, a pack of flat back red pearls in assorted sizes, 4 chipboard hearts in 2 sizes, red satin and flock padded hearts and red glitter die cut hearts.

I forgot I wanted to show you what my fabulous Brother In Law made for me!
Now I'm going to need to go shopping to fill this baby up with Copics!
Well hello my lovely bloggers how is everyone doing with their new year resolutions? I only made one and that was to be organised with my DT work and my craft room. As I had lovely storage units for Christmas I have no excuse and at the time of writing this post - so far so good!
I'm a little sad though as I have lost yet another follower! I must be doing something very wrong!
is back in action after a lovely long Christmas and New Year break
Before I go into the new challenge I'd like to thank everyone who entered the last challenge and everyone who entered any challenge in 2011, without your support and fabulous talent we wouldn't be here.
Head over to the main challenge blog to see if you made Hazels Top 3 or even better won!
This week it's my turn to kick off the year's hosting,
and I'd like to see
SPOTS and/or STRIPES
whether your holiday was filled with spotty kids or stripey pyjama's
I'd like to welcome Janice and Andy on board and thank them for sponsoring MAWTT in 2012
Sir Stampalot is my favourite shop with the best Internet service around! And since my car found its way there to class in the later part of 2011 along with a couple of my MAWTT team mates, it's found its way back for some very indulgent shopping!
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of the challenge along with the fabulous prize on offer to the winner and check out the amazing talent of my super teammies!
Of the gazillion stamps I've bought from Sir Stampalot I had an urge to use a digi!!! Not just any digi though this is the uber gorgeous Gillian from Roberta at Prairie Fairy. I just love that smug little face and this image has been smiling away at me waiting her turn for so long I just couldn't resist her any longer! She has a just as cute friend 'Lewis' who needs to make an appearance here soon! Coloured with Copics from Sir Stampalot (Janice I will be back to top up my colours very soon!)
I hope you all find time to play along this week, I look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some lurve!!
That's all from me, I'm actually at my Nephews wedding today (remember I made his wedding invites) and if I haven't posted it already I will be back by the weekend with my blogaversary candy.
Love 'n' Hugs
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
but with a major twist!! Oldie But A Good has zoomed into the future and from now onwards you can use your digital images! How fab is that? and whats more it doesn't have to be 6 months old but something on your creation must be! That's right folks - as long as you tell us in your post what you have used that you have had for longer than 6 months you will be eligable for the faabulous prizes on offer each week. I still have a gazillion stamps that I want to use that have been gathering dust lol!
Our lovely Janice is hosting this week for her first time on the DT
and she would like us all to get
BACK TO WORK
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some fabulous inspiration from the team, while you're there don't forget to check out the winner and top 3 of Tracy's 'Christmas Animals'
We have a fabulous new sponsor as we're now digi,
one of my favourites, the fantabulous
and they are giving the winner 7 images of their choice!
I've had this little image tucked away waiting for me to colour her up and as the trimmings came down it was time to get back to normal cleaning duties around the house YUK! I've used my new Echo Park Happy Days paper pad.
I've not been the best of bloggers lately as I have a big family wedding this week but I promise I will be a much more frequent poster after this week is over and if I don't get my blogaversary candy up in time for my blogaversary I promise it will be up by the weekend!
Happy happy happy new year to everyone I'm probably still fast asleep in bed as we've just had 2 of the busiest days and I'm out of practise at working! I was aching in places I didn't know I had!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year break and I hope you all got some new goodies in your stockings for crafting as you're going to need them this week as its Totally Ladybug Tuesday and that means a brand new challenge at
All the details of this challenge can be found over at the main challenge blog page along with the winner and top 3 from the last challenge.
This card was a commission for a friend and I usually find these so difficult but when she said the recipient loves dogs I knew just the stamp to use! I've used Dog Walking Nikki available HERE
AND DON'T FORGET ALL CLING STAMPS ARE HALF PRICE THROUGH JANUARY! THAT'S AN AMAZING DEAL
I got some lovely new Copic Sketch Markers in lots of brown shades, I know that sounds boring but I love my copics and my BIL is building me some lovely new storage for them as this year I'm determined to sort out my stash and I got some fabulous units for Christmas from Storage for Crafts. I've used my all time old favourite papers from Making Memories and Nesties were cut on my Cuttlebug - which to my disgust I broke the other day - so a nice shiny new one is on the way to me as I speak (or type) flowers from WOC
Lorna loved her birthday card and I got some more commissions from it so everyone was happy!
Thank you for all your visits and comments throughout my year blogging I can't believe its been nearly a year!
Love and Hugs Laurie xx
